Learn to Knit with Stephanie. Saturdays January 20 & 27, then Feb. 10 at 11 – 12:30PM

Learn to knit from casting on to finishing your project. In this 3-session class you will learn all the basic knitting techniques needed to begin and finish any project. You will knit learning swatches and will also knit a hat, done in the round. You can choose one of two patterns, each using one skein of yarn. You will be using Cascade Yarn’s Pacific Bulky, an affordable and washable wool/acrylic blend.

week 1 – learn the basic cast-ons and how to do the knit and purl stitches.

week 2 – learn to increase and decrease, fix common mistakes and read patterns.

week 3 – you will learn how to finish your project; weaving in ends and blocking.

Each session is 1 1/2 hours and class size is limited so you will get plenty of individual attention.
