Ever wanted to admit your knitting project to Urgent Care? Knitting 911 is a drop-in style clinic for quick fixes and emergencies! When you just need a little extra help with a dropped stitch, a knit stitch that should have been a purl stitch, or the next part of the pattern just doesn’t make sense, come in for assistance from an experienced knitter. Bring in that project that’s been in time out for awhile because you didn’t know how to fix your “boo boo”! Sometimes a fresh set of eyes, expert advice, and moral support are all you need to keep going. Sign up ahead of time or just stop by for a little help to get your project on the mend so you can get back to happily knitting.
What to bring: Your project, pattern, and whatever needles and yarn are required.
Consider bringing these items (nice but not necessary) for fixing mistakes:
- Small gauge dpns and/or small gauge circular needle
- Dpns or a spare circular needle the same size as the needles you are using for your project
- Small gauge crochet hook
- Locking stitch markers
- End caps for knitting needles (to prevent stitches from coming off)
- Gauge ruler and/or tape measure
- Reading glasses
