Want to learn to knit? This is the perfect class for you!! In this very-first-time-beginner class you will learn to cast on and then create a garter-ridge rectangle with knit stitches. After this one class you will have the basics you need to go on and finish your felted bag at the ensuing Knit-Along (KAL).
The following week(s) you will join the Knit-Along, at no charge, to finish your bag. At our first Knit-Along meeting you will learn to pick up stitches and join in the round. From here you will knit, knit, knit to finish the body of your bag. Then you will learn the I-cord bind-off as well as how to knit an I-cord for the handle. So much fun!! And the even better news? Any mistakes you may make while learning will magically disappear when our bag is felted in the washing machine! It’s magic.
